The Grenada Planned Parenthood Association (GPPA) is on a drive to make screening for cervical cancer accessible to women across the island.
Last week, we told you that January is known as Cervical Cancer Awareness Month, a time when the World Health Organization (WHO) and their partners raise awareness about cervical cancer and HPV vaccination.
With this in mind the Grenada Planned Parenthood Association (GPPA) has put together a number of events and activities to encourage women to know their status.
Executive Director at the GPPA Shaqkhi Cornwall speaks of the activities to be held.
Cornwall says this project is targeted at rural communities, and is being made possible through funding provided by the Canada Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI).
