Pfizer brand covid-19 vaccines are now in Grenada!

Some 29,250 doses donated by the US Government arrived here yesterday.

It’s all part of the US Government’s vaccine-sharing programme for lesser developed countries, to help in the fight against the coronavirus.

The vaccines were supplied through the COVAX facility.

It provides the scope for Grenadians in the range of 12 years and more to get vaccinated against the virus.

US Charge D’Affaires, Karl Duckworth, spoke of working together to fight the virus, which has sent the global economy in a tail-spin.

Grenada’s Minister of Health, Nikolas Steele, says the vaccine has come just in time for school.
