Grenada records its first homicide for the year, where a young woman lost her life this morning.
Deceased is Lindy Skinner-Morain, a Food Vendor of Jean Anglais, St. George.
According to a report from the Police is that there have been preliminary investigations into the matter.
It’s revealed that the accused reported to police at the South St. George Police Station that the victim owed him a sum of monies and requested police assistance.
The police are said to have responded and an agreement was reached between both parties.
Subsequently, the accused reportedly used a knife and inflicted numerous stab wounds about the victim’s body.
The incident occurred at Jean Anglais, St. George and at the time, it attracted curious onlookers and there were several posts about the incident online.
The accused is in police custody assisting with investigations.
