PR – Grenada was proudly represented at the 13th  Commonwealth Youth Parliament (CYP13) in Sydney, Australia, by National Youth  Parliamentarians Tariq Miller and Kerri Ann Marrast.

The Grenadian delegates joined young representatives from across the Commonwealth for a  week of parliamentary debate, leadership development, and meaningful dialogue under the  theme “Democracy in the Age of Artificial Intelligence.” Through their participation, Tariq  and Kerri Ann contributed Grenada’s perspectives to discussions on the opportunities and  challenges that Artificial Intelligence presents for democracy and governance. The Ministry  of Youth congratulates both delegates on their participation and commend them for  representing Grenada on this important Commonwealth platform.

In addition, plans are underway for the hosting of the National Youth Parliament Election  during the month of December where top debaters for the parish level youth parliament  sitting will be given the opportunity to campaign among their peer and partake in the election  process to become National Youth Parliamentarians, advocating on behalf of their peers and  serving as Ambassadors to the Ministry of Youth & Sports.
