The Grenada Solid Waste Management Authority (GSWMA) Yesterday commenced the process for its three-day clean-up programme, aimed at reducing the mosquito population here and ridding the environment of unsightly garbage.

It has ordered householders to clear-up their surroundings of unwanted trash.

Saturday, however, is collection day but yesterday and today have been set aside for placing items for collection outside respective homes. The collection programme is island-wide.

Myrna Julien of the Grenada Solid Waste Management Authority explained the process.
