Grenada’s National U16 Table Tennis team is scheduled to return home today after competing at the inaugural OECS Secondary Schools Team Table-Tennis Championships held in St. Vincent & the Grenadines.
Grenada earned the following positions at the championships.
In the girls division Grenada placed 2nd in the girls team, 3rd in the girls double and 3rd in the girls single with the youngest participant in the competition 11 year-old Annique Bonaparte.
In the boys division Grenada placed 4th in the boys’ team, 2nd in the boys doubles, 3rd in the boys mixed doubles and 6th in the boys Singles with Shermal Williams.
Grenada team was coached by Rose Newland.
