The Easter Period brought good news that in 2024, thatโs next year, Grenada will host the regionโs mega athletic championships, the CARIFTA Games.
That has come out of a meeting by the Sportsโ officials of the countries which participated in the 2023 Games in the Bahamas, which ended yesterday.
President of the Grenada Athletic Association, Conrad Francis, attended the meeting and had a great degree of confidence that the countryโs bid would have gotten the nod.
2024 will be the third time Grenada will host the regional youth athletics championshipโฆthe 51st edition of the games.
The Games will be held from March 30 to April 1, 2024.
