Members in the legal profession here will join their counterparts regionally on the opening of the New Law year next Tuesday.

The theme for the observance is the ECSC navigating the changing tides which will highlight the courts resilience in delivering fair and efficient justice.

This year chief justice Dame Janice Pereira will hold a hybrid special sitting with the court of appeal in Anguilla, while other member states and territories will appear virtually.

The Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court was established in 1967 by the West Indies Associated States Supreme Court Order No. 223 of 1967.
