The Grenada Trade Union Council (GTUC) has commended the recent minimum wage review that was conducted by the Grenada Government.
The praises came during a press conference where the union announced its upcoming activities in commemoration of solidarity week.
The new minimum wage rates are expected to take effect January 2024.
First vice president at the Grenada Trade Union Council Brian Grimes says the action is a step in the right direction.
General Secretary at the Grenada Trade Union Council Bert Patterson says the increase in salaries is long overdue.
