The Best Brain in Grenada Jevonie Thomas from J. W. Memorial Catholic School is in Daegu, South Korea, for the global final of the competition.
The Brain Bee competition runs September 19 to 23, this year.
A Team of ten, including Jevonie Thomas; his Mother, Keran Gordon; his Teacher, Erin John; Brain Bee CEO, Pastor Stanford Simon; National Coordinator, Gail Blackette the Quiz mistress; and two Brain Bee staff members left the island for the global competition Saturday.
The Competition comprises a Written Quiz, Neuro-anatomy Practical Neuro-histology, Practical Patient Diagnosis and Live Judging Session.
The competition will begin Thursday with A Welcome Dinner, Friday September 20th competition begins with Written Exams, Patient Diagnosis, Neuro-anaotomy, and Neuro-histology.
Saturday September 21 will be the Live Judging and Award Ceremony.
Sunday September 22nd will be Tour and Farewell Dinner.
Jevonie will be competing against children from 30 different countries.
