Looking at the latest covid-19 update, Grenada has recorded two new positive COVID-19 cases, bringing the total active cases currently on the island to 3.
The 3 are in self-isolation.
It, however, brings to 168 the total number of COVID cases recorded, since the first confirmed case in Grenada was reported March 22, 2020.
90 of the 168 cases are known to have been imported.
There have been164 recoveries with 1 death.
As it relates to the COVID Vaccination programme, some 16,075 individuals have so far received the second dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine, while the number of persons receiving the first dose, in view of the statistics recorded yesterday, stands at 21,371.
The update is showing that some 693 individuals are in quarantine facilities.
As it relates to RT-PCR Tests, it’s on recorded that 46,026 have been conducted.
