GRENADA’S FIRST NATIONAL HEROES’ DAY AND OCTOBER 19TH COMMEMORATION EVENTS TO BE HELD NEXT WEEK

Next Thursday, October 19th, Grenadians are invited to participate in the activities organized by the National Celebrations Committee.

These events are designed to commemorate the day of reflection and remembrance.

Now a public holiday and named National Heroes’ Day, October 19th is intended to allow for recognition of Grenadians who have over the years, significantly contributed to the Grenadian legacy and history.

Individuals requiring transportation to be a part of the observance can contact their Parliamentary office for assistance.
