April 28, 2022 – Prime Minister, Dr. the Right Honourable Keith Mitchell will be among regional leaders participating in a virtual U.S. Caribbean Leaders Meeting on Friday.
Dr. Mitchell and his CARICOM colleagues are expected to engage with U.S. Vice President, Kamala Harris.
The invitation extended to the Prime Minister identified economic recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic; security cooperation; and climate resilience and energy security among the areas for discussion.
A preparatory meeting was held Thursday, ahead of Friday’s engagement with the U.S.
Vice President.
