With the news that covid vaccines are on Grenadian soil, as the country continues to grapple with the fight controlling any spread of the virus, Prime Minister Dr. the Rt. Hon. Keith Mitchell, reiterates he has no problem in taking the vaccine jab.
Dr. Mitchell was last week-end addressing the 47th Independence Anniversary Military parade and virtual audience, making note of Grenada’s challenges in fighting the COVID battle…one that’s threatening untold damage to the country’s socio-economic landscape.
He noted that his government is relying on the guidance of the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) who is responsible for procuring vaccines for Grenada.
Addressing the Grenada socialization situation, bogged down by the COVID period, Dr. Mitchell says, he’ll take the COVID-19 vaccine, as soon as it becomes available.
He sees it as the ingredient to curb the disease.
