The National Celebrations Committee feverishly planning for the 31st October launch of Grenadaโs golden jubilee Independence celebrations!
The activity highlighted on social media shows thereโll be the unveiling of the Independence anniversary theme, logo and song for the occasion.
This, as well as remarks by Prime Minister, Dickon Mitchell.
Among other things, according to the promotion, thereโll be traditional culinary delights, creative artistry and whatโs touted as captivating cultural performances.
Several of the Nationโs artistes, calypsonians among the lot, will be part of the musical entertainment segment.
The launch of the year-long celebration was originally carded for October 19, but was pushed back to the end of this month.
Itโll take place on the Carenage, St. Georgeโs, beginning 4 in the afternoon.
