The National Celebrations Committee feverishly planning for the 31st October launch of Grenada’s golden jubilee Independence celebrations!
The activity highlighted on social media shows there’ll be the unveiling of the Independence anniversary theme, logo and song for the occasion.
This, as well as remarks by Prime Minister, Dickon Mitchell.
Among other things, according to the promotion, there’ll be traditional culinary delights, creative artistry and what’s touted as captivating cultural performances.
Several of the Nation’s artistes, calypsonians among the lot, will be part of the musical entertainment segment.
The launch of the year-long celebration was originally carded for October 19, but was pushed back to the end of this month.
It’ll take place on the Carenage, St. George’s, beginning 4 in the afternoon.
