Grenadian Attorney-At-Law, Arley Gill, writes a commentary pertaining to the Israeli/Palestine/Hamas conflict still sparking World attention.

Gill is urging Western powers to help stop the war once and for all.

REPORT:

In his latest writings, and on account of the latest situation, Gill calls for the war against the Palestinian people to stop for good not just for the ceasefire period; but, a commitment by all involved in the conflict to find a permanent solution to the Palestinian problem, which he defines as a problem created by the West, specifically Britain, at the dawn of the 20th century.

He sees it as a confrontation that is unjustifiable in the court of public opinion and international law; an ongoing fight by Palestinians to protect and preserve their land.

He regards the situation as an ongoing genocide against the Palestinian people, where innocent men, women and children are being silenced and slaughtered…a war fought in the name of “self-defense”.

Gill outlines American support for Israel in the conflict as one that involves billions of dollars to continue to wage war against the Palestinian people, while at the same time condemning the October 7 Hamas attack on innocent Israelis.

But, according to him, the condemnation of Hamas’ action and support for the Palestinian cause should be discussed in its proper context, not criticized nor condemned, by those called to speak truth to power…and to seriously put the plight of the Palestinian people in the proper human rights, historical and political context.

He believes the Israel created in 1947 by Britain is not the same Israel referred to in the Old Testament text in the Bible and encourages people to do their own independent research on the subject, convinced as he says that western media are not interested in sharing the truth.

Gill goes on to say, and in his words, “History will not judge us kindly if we sit idly by and watch genocide happen, again, under our watch. We must all join the human rights struggle for Palestinian liberation and call for an end to the Occupation now.”
