Grenadians wishing to renew their US Visa will be given an opportunity to have their in-person interview here at home.
This new “interview waiver” procedure seeks to mitigate exposure to COVID-19.
Applicants whose non-immigrant visa expired within 48 months prior to the date of application are eligible for an interview waiver until December 31, 2021.
As part of the process, applicants should visit the website at bb.usembassy.gov to review all the criteria to determine whether they qualify for the Renewal Interview Waiver.
Individuals wishing to obtain a US visa or current visa holders whose visa expired for more than 48 months will be required to appear at the Embassy for an in-person interview.
The US Embassy in Barbados is currently interviewing applicants for emergency travel only.
