The clinic is the brainchild of the Alliance of Jamaican and American Humanitarians (AOJAH) and the specialists were at the Gouyave polyclinic today and will also continue there tomorrow.
They’ll be at the youth Centre in Morne Rouge on Wednesday and Thursday.
There’ll be free eye exams, free eye care medications and free reading and sunglasses where necessary.
Cataract Surgeries will be conducted at the general hospital from April 14th to 17th between the hours of 9 am and 5pm and (must be pre-qualified by the ministry of health).
Service will be on a first come, first-serve basis.
