It was said to be a heartfelt moment when recently, representatives of GRENLEC delivered grants to several of the nationโs Care Institutions.ย

Itโs a first-time GRENLEC occasion since COVID-19, which is seen as a celebration of partnership and a reaffirmation of the Companyโs commitment to provide continuous support.
Some 10 care homes were the recipient of the 2023 installment of the annual grant under the Grenlec Community Partnership Initiative (GCPI).
Among them are the Bel Air Home for Children, Missionaries of Charity โ Pomme Rose and the Grand Bacolet Rehabilitation Treatment Centre, as well as the St. Martinโs Home and the Queen Elizabeth Home for Children.
The representatives of the care homes are said to have conveyed appreciation for this yearโs grant offered by GRENLEC.
Top Hill Home in Carriacou, the Richmond Home and Father Mallaghanโs Home for Boys will be awarded separately.
Prudence Greenidge, Grenlecโs Corporate Communications Manager, thanked the staff of the respective Care Institutions for the excellent job they do in caring for children and the elderly, who have served the nation and are deserving of quality care.
Grenlecโs Community Partnership Initiative is funded through 5% of the companyโs pretax profits, aimed at improving the quality of life of individuals, groups, and communities in which the Company operates.
