The Ministry of Health has received an injection of $30 million to bolster this critical sector under the health sector strengthen project.
These funds will be utilized to mitigate the impacts of COVID-19 on the health system, prepare for potential future health-related threats, and to enhance various aspects within the sector.
Speaking at the launch held this morning, Minister of Health, Philip Telesford, outlined the components that will be covered under this project.
Funding for this project is from the European Investment Bank and the Caribbean Development Bank.
