The Grenada House of Representatives has given its approval to the 1.352 billion-dollar 2022 Budget, the Estimates of Revenue and Expenditure presented last Friday by Finance Minister, Gregory Bowen.
The approval comes after debate on the Budget, which started on Monday, ending earlier this afternoon.
In wrapping up the debate, the Finance Minister noted that the GIDC will be called upon to activate CBI interest in priority areas concentrating on agriculture, manufacturing and ICT.
Bowen says both manufacturing and ICT are the tools that will push Grenada’s development in going forward.
Bowen says the GIDC will be the main link.
