The Royal Grenada Police Force (RGPF) has withdrawn an application to have two Vincentian men extradited to Grenada in connection with the October 2019 GUT armed robbery in Hillsborough, Carriacou.
With the matter requiring further investigation and ultimately additional time, the RGPF requested that the suspects be discharged as the investigations continues.
A formal extradition request can be reinstituted by the Grenadian authority at the completion of the investigations.
The men appeared before the Serious Offences Court in Kingston on Friday 21st February, 2020.
