The Inland Revenue Division (IRD) is encouraging the general public to make use of the pay.gov.gd payment portal to pay for Annual Motor Vehicle License and Inspection.
It further advises that whenever one presents their online receipt, as proof of payment, the Motor Vehicle decal or sticker can be obtained directly at each of the Licensing and Inspection Centres.
A release from IRD says it’s highly anticipated that there will be long lines at the Ministry of Finance building for the two days, Monday and Tuesday this week.
The IRD is asking persons to make use of the online services provided.
These include; paying for Property Tax, paying for Drivers Licenses, etc.
Online payments on pay.gov.gd, it says are easier and more convenient than facing the lines at the Inland Revenue Division, which is Striving for greater taxpayer compliance, taking the public from “Inline to Online”.
