International Family Day 2024 is being held under the theme “My Family Matters, Step Up Your Parenting Game.”
The focus this year is curbing the breakdown of family values and improving quality family time.
Minister for Social and Community Development, Housing, and Gender Affairs, Gloria Thomas, in her message on the occasion, made note that the pivotal role of families lays the basis for the foundation of society.
She stresses the importance of creating a stable and nurturing environment for individuals of all ages.
Minister Thomas urged parents to assume responsibility and offer the essential guidance to their children, fostering their success and development into productive members of society.
