Senior Dental Surgeon, Grenadian Dr. Jullie Du Bois, has been selected to be inducted into the distinguished dental organization the Pierre Fauchard Academy.
Dr. Du Bois left the island this afternoon to join over 7000 professionals from around the world who’ve been recognized as outstanding dentists: the leaders and future of the profession.
Dr. Du Bois will be the first Grenadian Dentist and the first female and the second dentist in the region to receive this prestigious fellowship.
She says it’s an honor.
Fellowship in the Academy is by nomination and is designed to honor past accomplishments in the field of dentistry and encourage future productivity.
Fellows are selected based on contributions to dental literature, service to the profession, and service to the general community.
This impressive fellowship is extended to less than 1% internationally.
Dr. DuBois believes such an accomplishment augurs well for dentistry in Grenada.
