Labour Minister, Claudette Joseph, says the Grenada Government has been honouring its commitment to the Nation’s workers.

Addressing yesterday’s Labour Day rally at the Fond Recreation ground in St. Patrick, she noted that the NDC Government is an administration for all the workers.

The worker’s rally was held under the theme, “Recognizing Labour’s contribution to Nation-building over the past 50 years, as we move forward with renewed vision and purpose”

Minister Joseph says education has gotten a fair share of the government’s attention and the T.A. Marryshow Community College has benefitted in this regard.

Looking at the march towards the Fond Recreation Ground, the Public Workers Union got the top prize, defeating the GUT into second place.

The Commercial and Industrial Workers Union was third.
