After what’s considered to be Grenada’s first wave of the Coronavirus with a spike in infections and deaths, Grenada has reached the point of no new cases and zero deaths.
This is according to the latest COVID update published last evening.
The statistic is indicative of what medical professionals see as a flattening of the analytical curve, which still requires citizens to exercise caution, to avoid another spike.
Cumulative confirmed cases are at 5,840, off which there have been 5,519 recoveries and cumulative deaths are at 198.
Yesterday, some 351 tests have been conducted and the test positivity rate is zero percent.
Though there have been no new cases over the reporting period in the last 24 hours, the update shows there are still 123 active cases.
There are 8 persons currently being hospitalized.
The number of persons in Grenada who are fully vaccinated in protecting themselves from the virus jumps to 31,590.
The number of persons who are partially vaccinated is 6,739.
