In the Leaper’s Hill Classic B-Ball tournament, Crown City Ball Stars suffered their second straight defeat.
ACS Basketball of Grenville overwhelmed the boys from St. Patrick 80 – 55.
Ranger, playing for ACS, scored 20 points and Daryl Williams 16.
But, it was Marvin Modeste of Crown City Ball Stars who marshaled the court with a high score of 34 points, though his team lost.
Last night Scatterers suffered a crushing defeat 109 pts to 42 at the hands of ACS Basketball.
ACS, winning two games in a row, saw many of their players scoring double figures.
It was Travis Ranger’s 19 pts, and 18 by Randy Steele and Marcus Roberts, that did much of the destruction.
Tyric Paul of Scatterers netted with 23 pts.
In the second fixture, Mountain Lions got the better of Trojans 67 – 64 in a very competitive encounter.
Elmon Williams of Lions dumped 31 pts in the game and
Nydanu Joseph 21.
Wednesday’s game will feature OCM Bullets and Mac Donald College 7.15 in the evening.
