Concord Government School, Belair Government and South St. George Government are among the recipients benefitting from what is known as the ‘Room to Read project”.
It aims at ensuring there are fully functional libraries, or in some cases, new libraries at the institutions.
The project is funded by Michael and Melanie Sherwood of the Grenada Schools Limited of the UK.
The donation focuses on strengthening the Foundation for Early Literacy in Grenada.
A handing over ceremony was held earlier today at the Concord Government School.
A ceremony will also be held Thursday at Belair Government from 1:30 in the afternoon and South St. George Government Tuesday 1st November, at half past two in the afternoon.
