Appearing in Court today, October 9th 2017, was Junior Roberts, a 24 year-old Butcher of Pearls, St. Andrew.
Roberts who was granted bail in the sum of ten thousand dollars is accused of stealing five goats valued at $5,700.00 ECC, from a Farmer at Pomme Rose, St. David. The theft reportedly occurred between September 15 and 18th 2017.
As part of his bail condition, Roberts has been ordered to report to the Grenville Police Station every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, avoid all contact with the prosecution witnesses, refrain from all butchering activities and should not be seen around any of the abattoirs within the State.
He is due to reappear in Court on November 3rd 2017.
