Gordwin John, 38 years old, Businessman of Grenville Street, St. George’s resident will make his first court appearance at the St. George’s Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday 22nd February, 2022, charged for the offence of Wounding to a Sergeant of Police attached to the Fire Department.
The incident occurred on Friday 18th February, 2022 at Grenville Street, St. George’s when the officer intervened in an altercation between two (2) men and was struck with an object to his head causing him to sustain an injury.
The officer was treated at the General Hospital and released after he received five (5) stitches.
