Reports have reached us that a man is currently hospitalized at the General Hospital nursing injuries after a hit and run accident. It occurred on the Mt. Gay main road 11:15 last Friday night.
Kevin Mitchell, believed to be in his late twenties, was on his way home when he was hit by a vehicle. The driver of the vehicle drove off, allegedly leaving Mitchell with several injuries.
It’s further noted that he also suffered injuries to his head.
Mitchell was found by a passer-by in an unconscious state at the scene of the accident.
The Royal Grenada Police Force (RGPF) has been informed about the incident and an investigation is said to be ongoing.
