Man Stabbed In St. George Market

Reports are coming in that a man was stabbed in the St. George market this afternoon.

It’s understood that the scene was bloody.

Indication is that a man wielding a knife was in the market making enquiries, in search of another individual.

One eyewitness to the scene said the man with the knife surprisingly got hit with a bottle which was hurled in his direction.

He was subsequently disarmed and stabbed in the process.

The information we got gives the impression that the scene was ugly.

The man was taken away by the ambulance to the General hospital.

Police are investigating.
