Workers island wide are reportedly gearing up for the 2023 annual international workers’ ‘May Day’ celebrations, this year, to be staged in Big Parish, St Andrew.
The celebrations will be held under the theme, “Promoting the Goals of Labor, Enhancing Workers’ Rights for Security and Equity”.
President of the Grenada Trades Union Council, Andre Lewis, speaking at today’s media launch for the occasion, says focus will be placed on the regularization of workers.
As per usual, issues affecting the Nation’s workers will be the main focus May Day.
