With workers gearing up for May Day celebrations Monday, the governing umbrella Workerโs organization, the Grenada Trades Union Council (GTUC), will tomorrow honour some of its fallen soldiers who have championed the cause for workersโ rights.
The TUC has planned a special wreath-laying ceremony, in acknowledgment of past presidents who have transitioned to the Great Beyond and now hold a spot at the St Georgeโs Center Cemetery.
May Day, Monday, is expected to present a militant showcase, with the workerโs march from Grenville to their rally at Progress Park, in the normal style of portraying issues that affect the workforce.
