The word out is that the Constitution Review Committee set up by a recent meeting of the Media Workers Association of Grenada (MWAG) has completed its draft constitution.
The Committee includes President Shere-Ann Noel, Nigel Mathlin, Sophia Phillip, Gerard Joseph and Linda Straker.
As things are now, the draft constitution is being made available for scrutiny by members of MWAG.
A decision is said to have been taken to give members one week to review the draft and for the Committee to take notes of any query to the document.
We understand that a date for a meeting could be forthcoming soon, at which time queries will be discussed.
It’s also reported that during that meeting a date will be set for the AGM of MWAG where there’ll be an election for an executive to run the affairs of the organization.
