Fisherfolks throughout Grenada are gearing up for St. Peter’s Day celebrations tomorrow.
Most of the fishing centres will be engaged in merriment, as operators take time off to give praises for the accomplishments.
There’s usually a bumper time in Gouyave, St. John, which schedules boat races, swim races and other forms of frolicking.
Fisher folks attached to the Melville street fish market are having plans to celebrate the annual fisherman birthday celebration with great pomp and flair this year.
It is expected to start with a religious activity at six in the morning, and according to Manager of the Melville street fish market, Sean Niles, it would be an all-day affair.
