Based on demand for poultry and poultry products here, the Ministry of Agriculture announces its intention to develop a strategic policy framework for the enhancement of the poultry sector.
The general view is that it can help cut back on poultry imports.
While fairly structured, Chief Veterinary and Livestock Officer, Dr. Kimon Cummings, sees Grenada’s poultry industry, possessing great potential, but more has to be done.
Dr. Cummings speaks of initiatives that will be implemented as it relates to growth in the industry.
