The Ministry Of Education says during this period of online learning they will be providing support to parents, through a series of webinars to educate and guide them.

With the doors of the nation’s schools still closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, teachers have been utilizing online platforms to assist with remote learning.

The ministry has also distributed e-learning devices to students from kindergarten to grade 6 at the primary level and from forms 1 to 5 at the secondary level.

Permanent secretary in the ministry of education, Kevin Andall, says the webinars will touch on a number of areas including how to care for devices, remote learning and keeping a balance during COVID-19 among others.

The webinar will be held every Sunday at 5 pm via the zoom platform, and will be broadcast live via the Government Information Services Facebook and YouTube pages, and also on the Ministry of Education facebook page.
