The Ministry Of Health is today confirming the death of a 74-year-old man who died in tragic circumstances at the
General Hospital yesterday afternoon.
A release in this regard has been published.
The name of the man has not been indicated, except to say he’s a St. Patrick resident.
He was a patient at the hospital since November 24.
When the news broke yesterday, it was understood that the man jumped from a staircase at the hospital and subsequently died.
The Ministry of Health says it has been in touch with the family of the deceased.
It went further to say it will continue to provide the necessary support to them in this time of grief.
The Ministry of Health extends deepest sympathy to the family of the deceased man.
