The Ministry Of Health expresses concern over what it sees as vaccine hesitancy in the Nation’s fight against the coronavirus.

Health officials have engaged in the vaccination programme been travelling around the country administering the vaccine, but they notice there’s been a reluctance by individuals to take the jab, identified as one of the most effective ways to protect people from the virus.

Assistant to the Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Myanna Charles made a call for more persons to get vaccinated.

Dr. Myanna Charles goes on to say vaccination is a preventative measure.

The issue of some frontline workers, particularly individuals in the health care sector, avoiding the jab is also one of concern for health officials.

The Acting Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Shawn Charles, is off the view that there’s too much mis and/or disinformation out there.
