Young men on the Sister Isle of Carriacou have been given the opportunity today to register for what’s termed MPower 4.0.

The registration will take place at the Carriacou Youth Department in Hillsborough.

MPower 4.0 is a male-oriented programme of the Division of Youth that caters to unemployed young men between the ages sixteen to thirty-five.

The Division of youth says it’s encouraging those who have not participated in the programme before to enroll.

The new round begins with registration in each parish, followed by the official launch and a Men’s Symposium.

Other aspects of the programme include CORE Training, small business development, community service and Epic Fridays.

Direct skills include Caribbean Vocational Qualifications (CVQ), National Vocational Qualification (NVQ), Skill Certification and Apprenticeship Training.

The programme concludes with a graduation ceremony and grant distribution to successful participants.
