With Grenada receiving more Astrazeneca vaccines yesterday, there’s the general feeling the country is on a course to normalcy, once a greater percentage of the population gets immunized by taking the jab.

We have been hearing announcements, especially where individuals in St. Mark who took the first dose are in the process of receiving the second dose of the vaccine.

When the batch of the 21,600 doses arrived here yesterday, Fiona Anthony, the PAHO/WHO Country Programme Specialist here, noted that Grenada is armed with the right approach towards achieving herd immunity in the fight against the coronavirus.

However, she still recommends the need to continue observing health protocols.
