Mt. Rush Road may remain closed for the next eight weeks!
That advice from the Traffic Department of the Royal Grenada Police Force, reminding motorists that the Mt. Rush Public Road is closed to all vehicular traffic.
This is to facilitate works in the area, which if conducted as scheduled, may take in the region of 8 weeks.
The RGPF’s Traffic department is indicating that violators will be pursued and charged failing to comply with such directive.
The reminder, the Traffic Department says is necessary, on the understanding that they have received reports of individuals violating the directive and still using the roadway.
It says the latest incident occurred last week-end and was brought to their attention and is being investigated and charges may be laid against the perpetrator.
