The Media Workers Association of Grenada (MWAG) is preparing to have its election of officers to run the affairs of the organization, after a void for an indefinite period of time.
The Interim Committee, which was set up to make the way for the process, has sent out notice to its members in this regard, indicating that a special meeting will be held on the 11th of next month.
At this meeting members will be called upon to exercise their right to elect a new executive to manage the affairs of the Association for a term of two years.
The Committee sees it as a very important decision.
It’s stated that for the convenience of members and as a result of the COVID pandemic, the meeting, scheduled for 4 in the afternoon will be conducted via the Zoom platform.
Members are advised to be in good financial standing by paying the association’s dues so that your vote can be counted, in shaping the way forward for MWAG.
The meeting, among other things, will include a report from the Interim Executive which was appointed to prepare the Association for its election by boosting membership.
