THE MAN SPEARHEADING the National Disaster Management Agency (NaDMA), Sylvan Mc Intyre, says the global pandemic has been responsible for the institutionโs early preparedness mission.
In considering that 2020 would be a very active hurricane season, Mc Intyre says the pandemic pushed NaDMA to deal urgently with matters boosting disaster preparedness.
He believes although thereโs still uncertainty as to how things will end, early preparation is in the best interest for the safety of all.
