With the 2021 Atlantic Hurricane Season predicted to be another above-normal season, officials of the National Disaster Management Agency (NaDMA) continue to place a higher priority on preparedness.
The agency is currently hosting a virtual shelter management training exercise which runs through to July 22.
Officials are sparing no efforts to ensure that shelters are well coordinated in the event of a Hurricane.
Shelter Management Theory and practical, COVID 19 in the Shelter, psychological First-aid and Nutrition in the Shelter are some of the topics the four-day exercise will cover under the subject.

The training will be facilitated by Natasha Sutherland Mc- Ewen, Tonya Hyacinth, Kizie Matthew Clarance and Pharisse Bristol.
