2021 is anticipated to be a game-changing year for Disaster Management in Grenada.

On this basis, staff of the National Disaster Management Agency (NaDMA) was recently engaged in two internal workshops on “the use of communication equipment and relief management”.

The activities were guided under the pillars of capacity building, fostering relationships with key stakeholders and attracting fresh faces to the disaster Management process.

Disaster Coordinator, Benedict Peters, speaks about the 2021 plan.

Peters says the organization’s hope is to build a framework on ways to build resilient communities, while focusing on engaging more people to serve in the disaster Management process.
