NaDMA To Upgrade Hurricane Shelters

With an active Hurricane season at hand, the National Disaster Management Agency (NaDMA) is said to be in the process of upgrading a number of hurricane shelters across the island.

This, Government Minister, Alvin Da Breo, says has become necessary.

Minister Da Breo pointed out that over the years a number of government properties, including community centers, normally utilized as hurricane shelters have been vandalized.

He says there’s a need for community education in this regard, simply for the preservation of government properties.
